Grief Awareness Training

Equip your staff and leaders to handle the challenges of grief & loss in today’s world with our Grief Awareness Training so they can create a more compassionate workplace culture and improve resilience and productivity

In today’s rapidly changing world, workplaces are facing unprecedented challenges. From economic downturns to organisational changes, to loss of role, or personal tragedies, employees are increasingly exposed to stressors that can impact their mental health and emotional well-being.

It’s important to recognise that grief can significantly impact individuals and teams, potentially leading to decreased productivity, increased absenteeism & presenteeism, and a negative work environment. Everyone in the workplace must understand and address this reality.

Testimonials

Bernadette Thompson, OBE, EDI Director, Kings NHS

Detola went beyond the conventional understanding, emphasising that grief is not limited to bereavement or death alone. Detola skillfully navigated through the complexities of this emotional terrain, offering valuable insights that resonated with our audience.  Her ability to communicate profound concepts with clarity and empathy left a lasting impression on all participants. Detola’s dedication to shedding light on the broader spectrum of grief and loss is commendable, and her expertise undoubtedly added significant value to our event. I highly recommend Detola and TPC for any organisation seeking a knowledgeable and engaging speaker who can tackle sensitive topics with both sensitivity and expertise

Graham Carrington, Peer to Peer Support Network Chair, BT

It was a delight today to listen to our external speaker, Detola Amure, talk about managing grief and the impact of it on our wellbeing. We spoke about how everybody has a unique journey through grief. We focused on how grief differs across different cultures; and how we should listen and support people grieving.
If you feel you can benefit from a great speaker, then I personally recommend Detola, from the Productivity Company

Gemma Oxenham, Women in Social Housing Chair, One Housing

The training was well received by the participants. It was fantastically lead by Detola. She offered insight, empathy and kept the safe space sacred. She was engaging and staff found the workshop extremely valuable and some even reached out after. We are planning to offer an organisation-wide workshop as it went so well. I would recommend Detola and her workshops and will be passing her contact on to others I meet who would benefit from her work.
